Chamber Annual Meeting
Date: February 2021
Location: Oneida County Community/Senior Center
Our annual meeting is held for current and prospective members of the Chamber.  Membership dues can be paid for the upcoming year.  There will be a guest speaker, catered dinner and update on the status of the Chamber.
Easter Egg Hunt
Date: April 3, 2021
10:00 am sharp, listen for the siren
Location: Malad City Park
Each year, on the Saturday before Easter, the Chamber sponsors the Malad Easter Egg Hunt.  It is held at Malad City Park for children ages 0-12. Many private citizens and local business owners get involved by donating eggs and helping the Easter Bunny hide eggs for the children.  40 lucky children will find golden eggs that they can exchange for a gold dollar coin or a free frosty from the Drive In.  The Easter Bunny will be on site for photos, though no photographer will be present.

Malad Classic Car & Bike Show​
The 2020 Car Show has been cancelled.  We will come back bigger than ever for our 30th Anniversary show on Saturday, June 5th, 2021.  We hope to see you then.
Hometown 4th of July Celebration
Date: July 3 & 4
Location: Throughout Malad
Experience the best small town 4th of July around.  There are a variety of events including a Children's Bike parade, Snake River New Horizions Band, and Malad's Got Talent on July 3rd.  July 4th starts off with a Cannonade throughout the city, 1 mile/5k/10k Fun Run, Pancake Breakfast, Parade, Kids Races, Water Balloon Fight, Various activities and concerts in the park, Malad's Got Talent Finals, Concert and Fireworks to end the night.
*If either day falls on a Sunday, then that date will be celebrated on Saturday, not Sunday.

Scarecrow Contest at Halloween Carnival
Date: October 2020
Location: Oneida County Fairgrounds
The Scarecrow Contest is open to all Oneida County Residents & Businesses, Malad Elementary Grades, Malad Middle School Class/Group and Malad High School Class/Group. Scarecrows must be an original creation, not store bought.  Attendees of the Carnival will vote for the winner and it will be announced on Facebook the following day.  Prizes are awarded for each category with the winning resident/business receiving $100 in Chamber bucks.

Shop Till You Drop
Date: Friday Nov 27 - Monday Dec 11, 2020
Location: Malad Main Street
Save your receipts from Friday, November 27th - Friday December 11th. Turn them in no later that 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15th to Eric Crowther at Hess Lumber. Receipts can also be dropped off with any board member.
$250 in Chamber bucks will be awarded to the individual with the most receipts from the most visited Chamber businesses within the specified dates.
$250 in Chamber bucks will be awarded through a random drawing for which every $100 spent at a Chamber business will get the individual one entry in the drawing.

Santa's Visit To Malad
Date: 1st or 2nd Saturday in December
Location: City Christmas tree by Allen Drug
Bring your little ones to visit with Santa. He will arrive via fire truck following the Coloring Contest Drawing. 1:15 - 1:30 is an approximate start time, it may be earlier or later, depending on when the drawing ends. There will not be a photographer present, it is up to you to take your own photos.

Malad Christmas Lighting Contest
Date: December 2020
Location: Malad Idaho
Let's get those lights shining for at a chance to win some Chamber bucks.  The contest is open to all residents and businesses.  Must register with Eric Crowther at 208-317-4743 to make sure your house is on the judge's list.
